Guadalajara International Book Fair
Mexico holds the main publishing fair for Latin America, where Galicia will also be present. The Regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Galician Publishers’ Association will have a stand at the twenty-third edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico. This year, the guest of honour is the American city of Los Angeles. [ ... ]
Read Galicia wants to bring the literature of Galicia closer to agents and publishers from all over the world. Its goal is to facilitate the exchange and sale of rights in order to foster the translation of Galician literary works.
Future actions
Frankfurt International Book Fair
The world’s most important event for the publishing sector, to be held between the 14th and 18th of October, will include a stand from Galicia. The Regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Xunta de Galicia and the Galician Publishers’ Association will be presenting the most important new releases from the region in the German city, and will be helping to establish contacts and generate business opportunities for Galician companies in the sector.
